Hello!
Yes, it is possible to help your dog overcome his trauma with EFT - I do it all the time. The problem is getting yourself out of the way and taking the stand of your dog. But it sure works.
Warm regards

Hello Catherine,
what a pleasure to hear from you!
I have got your book "Shock to the system" and I am planning to write a review about it on ezine articles where I publish because I like it very much.
We need to educate pet parents to help them protect the ones we love and your book is very good at doing that.
Much love from Germany

Hi Annelie - me again. I wanted to add that I, too, have spoken with animals who have passed to the Great Mystery. Some have also come back and taken on another body to be with me. As an animal communicator myself, I have had much 'proof' that we are eternal spirit. Hugs,

Dear Annelie - I just love your website. I love everything about it, and the way you seek to enrich our relationships with animals. I'm in Scotland, UK - otherwise I'd love to meet up with you. I'm going to save your site and refer to it often. Thanks so much!

Hello,

I have had good experiences with EFT and have just been trained in wingwave (combines techniques of emdr, nlp and kinesiology test). And now I am wondering, if and how I could apply these techniques to help my dog overcome his trauma.
Eddy is a neutered, highly allergic male golden retriever (not a properly bread one) whom we took over from someone unknown when he was 6 months old. He is now nearly 3.

He is absolutly wonderful with people and also with our little daughter. But ever since we got him, we could observe that he gets generally very excited and sometimes scared when confronted with unknown territory, objects..., and really very excited when meeting peers, both in the positive as in the negative.
It is clear by now that he lacks certain social skills, making contact with other dogs difficult for him - quite often after being invited to play, the other dogs soon find him "too energetic".
Potentially agressiv-assertive dogs he attacks without any warning and usually gets hurt in the process while the other dogs get away with a huge scare. Each time something happens, Eddy seems to confirm to himself that he is better off attacking those dogs preemptivly, since that ensures he only gets hurt instead of killed... As a result we have to keep him on a leash almost all the time unless we know for sure that there are no "scary" dogs anywhere near.

We have seen and done almost everything for and with Eddy, including having him comunicate with a dog communicator, who in turn told us that Eddys troubles stem from a prenatal trauma - his mother being attacked during pregnancy.

Now, I am writing to you to ask you, weither you think it could be possible to disolve (be it with EFT or EMDR techniques) any stored trauma and allow Eddy to find that an alternative to attacking could be avoiding scary dogs?
I have been lightly bilaterally tapping his head and he seems to like it...

I thank you in advance for your answer and help.

Viele Grüße,

Joanna

I never heard of a flip stomach until my german shepard went throught it. Unforunatly due to her health condition she would not have survire the operation so I had to put her to sleep. This came on so suddenly I was not prepared for it.

I?m impressed, I have to say. Really hardly ever do I encounter a blog that?s both educative and entertaining, and let me inform you, you could have hit the nail on the head. Your idea is excellent; the difficulty is something that not enough individuals are talking intelligently about. I am very completely satisfied that I stumbled throughout this in my search for one thing regarding this.
